Hour 7! I hope you’re all still going strong. I’m sure you are – it’s hard to keep a good reader down! If you need a quick break in your day, how about a mini-challenge?
If you participated in the Read-a-thon in April, you might remember my mini-challenge, Read-A-Thon-A-Crostic. I created my own here just to give you an idea. Because I love books so much, I used the word “HEART”.
The same rules apply: It’s simple – take the title of your current book or a book you’ve already finished today and create an Acrostic. It can be words that describe the book, you can make it into a poem, whatever you want! You can post it here in comments OR do up a blog post. Just remember to leave the link so everyone can check it out. Be creative and have fun! (If your book title is totally HUGE, you can just use the first letter of each word. I’m easy! (just not cheap..))
You might like to know about the prize, eh? (Yes, I’m Canadian!) The winner of Read-A-Thon-A-Crostic will win the book of their choice up to $10 from Book Depository. Second place will receive a collection of book marks. First place will be chosen my me and by read-a-thon partner, my 11 year old daughter, Brooklyn. Second place will be determined by Random.org. Open internationally! You have 3 hours until the winners are chosen. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
