I.Love.Jill.Mansell. Hers are the type of books that are hard to put down. I’ve said this before – when I read a Mansell, my house and family suffer! Each one is funny, sad, unpredictable, a joy to read and full of wonderful and quirky characters.
To the Moon and Back is no exception. Jill weaves an exceptional tale, all the while intertwining the lives of friends, families and enemies in such a way that you feel you’re part of the group. To give you a feel for the story, Ellie is a single woman who recently lost her husband (she conjures him up a lot and talks to him which I found totally endearing). She moves to a new neighbourhood, meets new people and finds a new job – and boss (I am completely in love with Zack, by the way!). And, as in all of Jill’s books, she finds her happy ending. It’s one of the things I love best about her stories – sometimes you just don’t want to have a sad ending…
I can’t gush enough about To the Moon and Back. It only took a few days to read because not only is it great, her reading style is easy to read. If you haven’t read a Mansell, you need to start NOW. If Brit chick lit isn’t your normal genre, well guess what? It isn’t mine either. But that doesn’t stop me from enjoying every word from every book I’ve read. I’ve read four now and have loved each one.
This book was sent to me by Sourcebooks in exchange for my honest review.

I do really enjoy Jill Mansell’s books! It must be almost time for me to read another one actually!
I’m reading this one now and am loving it. I haven’t read a Mansell book yet that I didn’t like.
