Virginie Says…
I thought I’d bring this back up to the top of my blog and also add some rules, etc. You can sign up for the challenge here and then each week I will post my updates and you can post your updates there, too.
The challenge will begin on November 1, 2009 and will end on February 28, 2010. Each book you read can only be used for one category. You can ‘read’ up to ‘2′ audiobooks if you choose, but you don’t have to. You can read books you are also reading for other challenges. Here are the categories:
5 Point Challenges
Read a book with a proper name in the title
Read a book about a queen or king
Read a book by or about/related to a Bronte
Read a book about Vampires
Read a book by V.C. Andrews

Hi:)
What about if you just finished reading a book… say, on King Arthur (..you know which one;) in October? Does that count- or do all the books have to be read beginning in November? Also, do you want the review links as well?
And lastly, do we pick as we go along, or do you need titles as of now?
It sounds like such a wonderful challenge- Count me in!

It probably wouldn’t count unless you started it November 1 or later. Which is why I stopped reading it on page 13
(I never said I’d review it). You don’t need to leave review links, but it would be cool if you did! And, I’m starting to go through and pick my titles now, but you don’t have to. Just choose as you go

I’m in, as you already know. I don’t know if I will have as much time to dedicate to it (I’m going to try to fit my review books into if I can) but I will try my hardest.

Does anyone care if I change a couple of categories? I’d like to change ‘read a Bronte’ to ‘read a book by or about a Bronte’ and the same with the Dickens. Let me know if anyone objects. I’m just trying to make it a bit easier to find books.

Count me in on this challenge. I’m hoping that many of the books I have lined up to read in the next few months fit the categories. But then I can always switch some in and others out of the list.

I find the 20 point challenge to be the easiest also so that is what I’m signing up for. I have put my list on my blogsite for this great challenge. Here is the list:
